RACE PROVEN DESIGNS
Bob Suggitt has been making sails for 40 years and from the start has been at the forefront of innovative design. In the 1970`s, revolutionary seam shaping led to championship winning performance in the Enterprise, Heron Fireball, Lark and 420 classes. Bob was the first sailmaker in Britain to use the now ubiquitous 3-step stitch on sail seams and one of the first to glue all seams and batten pockets before sewing.
The development of the Wild 1 rigs for Topper and Laser, which give club and leisure sailors a sparkling performance without upsetting the balance of the boat(see our reviews of the Wild 1 rig) is a continuation of this innovative approach.
We have always used the best quality materials from the worlds foremost manufacturers and you can be confident that as well as a top performance, your new sail will last.
Finally, because our overheads are lower than those of our competitors, we can give outstanding value for money.
Below are the prices of the sails we make most often. We have patterns for many more classes, so if your boat is not one of them, please give us a call and we`ll be happy to give you a quote.
